Important notice: please note that the Italian dinner scheduled to take place on Sunday 11th January at 7pm will now take place on Sunday 25th January at 7pm. With apologies to all for the inconvenience.
Ash Wednesday this year is on 18th February. Masses with distribution of ashes will be at 7am, 9.30am, and 7pm. The Ash Wednesday fish fry will be from 5.30pm until 7pm in the parish hall – sit in or take away.
Last Sunday’s Justice and Peace Scotland collection was a bit on the poor side. If you missed this collection or would like to contribute now give your offering to Father or one of the pass keepers.
Theft of clothing was done from the parish hall on New Year’s Day during the 12 noon Mass. Volunteers (men) are needed to keep watch before, during, and after Masses and services.
Polite notice to parish volunteers – Father Morris needs to know when volunteers are coming to do their volunteering tasks. Therefore do not do tasks without Father’s approval or knowledge. For everyone’s safety and for the smooth running of the parish Fr. Morris must be asked before volunteering tasks are done. Also, lending of sets of parish keys must not be done without Father’s approval.
At confession please remember to mention all mortal sins and the number of times committed.
Please pray and work for an increase in attendance at Sunday Masses in Immaculate Heart.
The Sunday Mass collection is averaging £700 approximately. Thank you to all for your contributions. However, so that we do not need to have concern about bills £1000 per week is needed. If you can increase your offering please do, and thanks again.
Thank you most sincerely for your continued steadfast financial support of the Parish. However, an increase is needed – please give as generously as you possibly can to the Sunday bag collection, or make a regular money transfer to the Parish Bank Account.
